Last Wednesday March 21, 2012, THEZROHOUR celebrated its 8th year as a podcast/radio show. This broadcast was also the last. This show is a collection of some of the best interviews/freestyles that have graced the show and DJ Ambush lit the decks on fire in the second half! Founded by myself, DJ Ambush and Alexie F. back in 2004, THEZROHOUR was created to fill a need for the incredible amount of independent/underground hip hop artists that were emerging at the time. Mainstream radio almost completely ignored (and still does) the local hip hop community in almost every area of the United States. There were new waves of artists coming out abroad that fans were not familiar with, that needed to be familiar with. Over the years, THEZROHOUR has reignited that focus and dropped some amazing music & interviews along the way. Thank you to BBOXRADIO for allowing us to broadcast live for the first time in the show's history. Thanks to everyone for tuning in and supporting the show. THEZROHOUR with your host EDAYE, is returning to the internet airwaves after a long hiatus. Hope you missed hearing the best in independent hip hop as much as I missed delivering it to ya!

Over the last several months I have been laying low as I worked to expand my beat catalogue, collaborating with artists (announcements coming soon) and co-hosted THE UNDERGROUND DUGOUT with Jeff strange and LO-J.

The most exciting thing is that the show is now being broadcast on BBOXRADIO.COM! What is BBOX radio? BBOX is a new community radio station located in Downtown Brooklyn. I have been working with this great team since its Grand Opening this past July in the role as lead engineer/tech and member of the production staff. The station depends on donations and private funding and BBOX has launched a KICKSTARTER campaign that you can view below:

Crowds in excess of two million are expected to line Fifth Avenue on Sunday, June 13th for the 2010 Puerto Rican Day Parade. The parade will start at 11 am at Fifth Avenue and 44th Street and proceed uptown along Fifth Avenue to 86th Street.
