Okay, Asher Roth officially has my props and his marketing machine gets major ups too. Its no secret, for those that know me, I am a serious fan of animation and this video got my attention right away. The visuals are as sick as the lyrics. We need to see more hip hop animation. The Boondocks reps it hard in the U.S. but are you familiar with TOKYO TRIBE2? More on that in a future post..

GRAND PUBA Prepares New Album- "Retroactive" On Babygrande Records
Puba has been spitting since he was 11 years old. The cover image was extracted from his father's Super-8 home video and shows Puba rhyming as a shorty. From there he would make his debut with Masters of Ceremony, and then move on to found the legendary group Brand Nubian. Grand Puba's new album, "Retroactive" will be released on June 9th 2009.
