This week I continue to bring forward the best in indepenent/underground hip hop. The show features music from ULTRABEAST (Senor Kaos & 4-IZE), APATHY, ODDISEE, JEAN GRAE, PHONTE & ELZHI, BROWN BAG ALLSTARS, FRESH VETZ, 9TH WONDER feat. RAEKWON, DA KREEK, DANNY BROWN and others. Starting this week I premiered two new segments on THEZROHOUR- "Producer's Corner" and "Spotlight Artist". BATSAUCE, producer of The Smile Rays and Lady Daisey among others is the first to bless the "Producer's Corner". I play a medley of some of his strongest bangers. "Spotlight Artist" is the section of the show where I play new music from artists you should be watching for. The first two "Spotlight Artists" of the week are Brooklyn, N.Y. emcee FARRAH BURNS (www.reverbnation.com/farrahburns) and Chicago, Illinois based Hip Hop/Alternative band ANTI-CREW (http://AnticrewMusic.com).
