Championships!

America, the sleeping giant of the world's human beatboxing community awakens; heading back onto the main stage with high anticipation and a thirst to quench. For years the birthplace of the beatbox has noisily held some of the art forms most mind blowing talent. This battle is for the crown of America's Best Beatboxer.

The anticipation for the 1st American Beatbox Championships is going high into the stratosphere. With a brand new, unique battle format, the illest beatbox artists, over $1000 USD in prizes and the respect of one crown this will be a battle for Hip Hop history books.

8 Grand Finalists will head to New York City to battle for the American Beatbox Championship Finals.

• Registration begins October 1st, 2009
• Registration ends Jan 4th, 2010
• First round battles begin January 11th, 2010
• Grand Final - July 2010 (date TBC) New York City

Battling is a fundamental element of Hip Hop which pushes the artist to expand their creative technique and vision. This battle will be like none art has ever seen. With creative never before seen rounds and special guest judges the American Beatbox Championship promises to be a highly imaginative and inspiring entertainment for Hip Hop lovers.
