Lois James, co-host of THE UNDERGROUND DUGOUT gave us some info on this upcoming film on this weekend's
episode. Esteemed filmmaker/director/actor Bill Duke presents a new documentary on the divisive issues of skin color among people of African descent- "Dark Girl". Co-directed and co-produced with D. Channsin Berry, "Dark Girl" explores the attitudes, racism and often self-hate that blacks have both experienced from outside their cultures and perpetuated upon each other throughout multiple generations. The film is in post production and news of its eventual release is forthcoming.
