America, the sleeping giant of the world's human beatboxing community awakens; heading back onto the main stage with high anticipation and a thirst to quench. The anticipation for the 1st American Beatbox Championships is going high into the stratosphere. With a brand new, unique battle format, the illest beatbox artists, over $1000 USD in prizes and the respect of one crown this will be a battle for Hip Hop history books.
8 Grand Finalists will head to New York City to battle for the American Beatbox Championship Finals.

• First round battles begin January 11th, 2010
